Job Purpose
The Human Capital and Culture Manager is responsible for shaping and sustaining PLSI’s culture while ensuring alignment with its strategic objectives. The role involves overseeing human resources functions, driving employee engagement, and fostering an inclusive and innovative workplace environment. The manager with a direct reporting line to the Executive Director acts as a strategic partner to leadership, advocating for employee well-being and ensuring that the organization’s values are reflected in its day-to-day operations
Job Description
- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement human capital strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives across the organization.
- Culture and Engagement
- Design and execute programs to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement, and satisfaction.
- Facilitate initiatives that promote collaboration, innovation, and a positive work environment.
- Act as a culture ambassador, ensuring alignment between stated values and workplace practices.
- Employee Development and Retention
- Oversee learning and development programs, performance management systems, and career growth pathways.
- Implement initiatives to support employee well-being and work-life balance.
- Monitor and address turnover trends, implementing strategies to retain top talent.
- Change Management
- Lead efforts to navigate organizational change, ensuring effective communication and support for employees.
- Serve as a resource for managers and teams during transitions, promoting resilience and adaptability.
- HR Operations and Compliance
- Oversee core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy development.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies while maintaining HR best practices.
- Leverage HR technology and analytics to optimize human capital processes and inform decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate human capital strategies into broader business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, fostering open communication and trust.
Qualification & Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in HR or organizational is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in human resources management, organizational development, or a similar leadership role (minimum 5–7 years).
- Demonstrated expertise in fostering organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management.
- Experience in implementing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) strategies.

- Knowledge of learning and development methodologies, performance management, and workforce planning.
